Minder star George Cole dies at 90 - after asking director to hurry up because he wanted to make one more film before he died

Acclaimed actor George Cole (pictured above) who starred as the loveable rogue Arthur Daley in the hit ITV series Minder (pictured above, left in character) and had a career spanning more than 70 years, has died aged 90. He passed away at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, Berkshire, with his wife, Penny, and son, Toby, at his bedside following a short illness. Despite his ill-health, Mr Cole had hoped to star in one more movie and had urged the projects director to 'get a move on.'
